Running towards the light

Something I have realized recently:

When I run with my eyes on the ground,
concentrating too hard on details,
my body closes up,
it's harder to breathe,
and my vision drowns in concrete sidewalk

when I look up, straight ahead
I glide- faster, flowing, streamlined
When I look towards the Light,

I am strong

  1. I love your picture and can see and understand the "looking up and gliding faster and more streamlined instead of looking down." It is the same with many things in life, not just running. I have never been accused of "gliding or flowing streamlined when running", but when looking toward the the light of the Lord does make me strong". Hope all is going well there in Houston, miss you all. Love and hugs from here.
